It was very spoilery so I turned it off soon. Would love if someone can post a summary of spoiler-free features they announced/showed.
No summary/bullet point list is available.Anyway these were my live thoughts during the presentation:
-Lol, Lae'zel "hair change" was just her in the initial cutscene with the wind blowing in her hair.
-I really like that the party doesn't really agree with the tadpole discussion, makes them feel much more dynamic.
-The subreddit got two shoutouts <3
-I was hoping people would pick option 1 in the Goblin camp, it's clear that there was something weird with the ring.
-The brain thing was gross. Then it got little paws and it became cute like a pet. Then they described what an Intellect Devourer was and it was gross again.
-Maybe next time they should limit what the audience picks? To ensure that no choice gets repeated.
-Did I heard 20+ hours of EA? That sounds good enough! Probably gonna take a lot more, anyway.
-Is Gale in a similar situation to Lohse? They mentioned there's a lot going on in his head and I'm wondering if they actually mean something more literally, because so far while he seemed a bit sad at times, nothing about him seems to indicate some struggle (other than his sad flashback briefly shown in the EA trailer). Maybe split personality? As long as he doesn't go full DA2 Anders, I'm fine with it.
-Shadowheart and Lae'zel hate each other. That's interesting.
-I'm really happy that they're taking their time and making sure every good idea isn't wasted.
-There seems to be way more freedom in BG3 when compared to DOS2. Pretty cool. Without leaks and being only digital, it will be fun to see everyone's discoveries in Early Access.
-I'm happy that they mentioned that they want conversations to feel like real conversations. Loved the Dragon Age and Mass Effect series so far, but it really bothers me how dialogue sometimes just feel like loooong info dumps.
-Hope we can eventually get a familiar wolf.
-Owlbear seems cool, but I'm NOT going to have the owlbear in the camp after knowing what might happen to the other creatures that follow you.
-People in the chat saying stuff like "Wait, Early Access is today???" to mess with people who have lag are pure evil.
-September 30 is actually pretty close.
-The questions asked and chosen were actually great.
-Apparently, some of the romance content will be already in Early Access. Sort of like some of Ifan's dialogue, I imagine.
-I'm okay with less companions when compared to older Baldur's Gate. Quality > Quantity.

While my PC is fairly above the Recommended settings, and given I'll be playing BGIII in 1080p, those 70 GB ….
If someone would have told me 5-20 years ago I would be skipping Baldur's Gate 3 in 2020 I would have considered that person insane.
Might not be a bad idea to skip it when it's released in 2021 too. Wait for 2022 when the patches/expansions are done and the "Definitive Edition" is out :lol:I'll skip ir in 2020 as well, since it will be first launched as an EA title. But I'll grab it up ahead, 2021, 2022, I just don't know when it will be.
"Nowadays" has been going on for at least a decade now.We all know a definite edition and a crap ton of patches will be released. It's the golden rule nowadays.
