Bard's Tale IV - Early Alpha Video

It does look promising. I especially like the music and art direction that I've heard and seen so far.

Only thing I don't like is how the party members turn and face the player during their round in combat. I find it odd, and I don't see the purpose of it.

The characters turning is odd. What is the logic to that because I can't figure it out. Better to use portraits Might and Magic style.

Yeah. It would be a bit boring to only see the backs of your team all the time, but the way they turn around and stare at you is borderline creepy. And it looks kind of funny when they attack facing you instead of the enemies. I agree portraits would be better, or some animation where they turn slightly and give you an acknowledgement and then face the opponents again.

In general though, it's looking pretty awesome.
