Gothic 4 - Arcania

"Ability to ride a beast seem suspicious to me because it may mean that world will be unnecessarily vast and possibly without much attention to detail."

The game world is smaller than that of Gothic 3. And it's still being hand-built.
 
@Hohoho: How do you know it is still hand build?
don't really see the purpose of riding animals If the world is smaller than gothic 3 I

I think some people are getting mixed up here... There are TWO 'Gothic' games being developed. The one concerning this thread is not being made by PB, and we have no idea how big the world will be or anything of the like. The other 'Gothic' game is being made by PB, and really has nothing to do with the Gothic universe. THAT'S the one that is going to be smaller than G3 and hand-built.

Nobody is getting mixed up. According to the devs it is a smaller world than Gothic 3.
