No Man's Sky - Death Threats Over Delay

Chein is still here.

No, not Chein. His eldritch writings remain a mystery to me, and may contain many great secrets.

It could be a code and this website is being used to communicate for some secret sect.

It's not just your own anonymity of course, it's that the other side is somewhat removed from you, and the judgement of others, too.

What judgement? Legal judgement? Other than this kind of judgements, it is enough to read this thread to see they are judged.

What does the judgement of people in places you don't frequent mean to you? It's quite different from being judged in public.

People who are judged should not care because they do not know their judges.
Yet people who judge should care while they do not know the judged.

Apparently, what should be true for ones should not be true for the others.

The judges are anonymous. The judged are anonymous.

Beside, both populations usually frequent the same places

Umm, that's not how it works. While you don't need to know your judges, their judgment can still have repercussions for you.

None of the people in question would reveal their identities here, or anywhere else where they can be sure their behaviour isn't met with approval. So the two sides don't really "meet".

Really? Was not it supposed to be the principle behind the anonymity breeds stuff bit? That anonymous people are freed from the other side?

Nope.

It is like reading one is one, two plus two are four when you keep building up argumentations on 1 is 2, 2+2 are 5 or 3.

The point isn't really hard to get. Out in public the judgement of other people can matter, even though you don't know them, just because of the physical proximity. On the internet, this isn't the case.

Except that from the start, it is about anonymous people.

Once again, it works both way: people who judge people who sent those death threats have something in common: both of them are anonymous.

it doesn't make a bloody difference if those who judge are anonymous.

Both are anonymous. That is all what matters.

Anonymous people sending death threats do not care because they are anonymous to the anonymous people judging them on the Internet.

Anonymous people judging anonymous people sending death threats care even though anonymous people sending death threats are anonymous to them (the judges)

You fail to see the point. I said that people will make all kinds of threats if they feel they can do so under cover of anonymity.

There is great irony in the fact that even Chien's post in which he argues that he's not hard to understand is incomprehensible.

So what you are saying is one builds on one but when you have four it can only be five or three. If other factors happen the out come could be green though?
