RIP Sean Connery

Just heard it on the radio.

May he rest in peace.

I was (I still AM, why not?) his fan, I liked his role in The Untouchables. May God rest his soul in a good place!

The best James Bond, sad news, but he did live a long life.

I re-watched The Untouchables during this pandemic, all this time and it's still a damn good movie :)

Outstanding actor... who else could portray a spaniard with a scottish accent, or a russian with a scottish accent, or in fact ANY ethnicity WITH A SCOTTISH ACCENT! :worship:

Sleep well, Sean. Not bad for a lad from Fountainbridge.

Never been much into James Bond, don't think I've ever seen him in one of those.- But I've seen several of his later performances. Always a twinkle in his eyes, and that lovely scottish accent. :) Seemed like a nice person.

a pibbur who has given up the only license he ever had.

PS. I read he suffered from dementia. Dementia is actually a major cause of death in the world. DS.
