TDE is no tabletop game.
Armalion and Schicksalspfade is.
Both are … I just call them "derivates" of TDE, for the lack of a better word. Spin-offs, so to say.
TDE was never meant to be an table-top game. Only in the very, very, very, very first versions, maybe.
It was always about playing a role - and about dungeon-crawling in the first versions.

I'm not sure you are understanding what table top means, D&D is a table top rpg.

Probably a language difference. I've always heard them used interchangeably. Even the English Wikipedia calls them synonyms (see first sentence): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabletop_role-playing_game
