I'm waiting for a mod called Fallout: The Frontier to replay the game again.

It should release this month but looks like it might be delayed again.

It isn't my favourite Fallout game, but it does make the top four. I probably need to schedule a replay sometime soonish.

It's a toss up between New Vegas and Fallout 2 for me for which one I have played most.
The top four… out of five Fallout games. I see you really liked it.
I think he is referring to the wider Fallout universe i.e.

But I do agree with you that there should only be five fallout games. Most of them are better forgotten. Only the top 5 are worthy of even having the name.

I feel like Fallout Tactics is criminally underrated. I think it's the best one after the first.

It really just depends what you like about Fallout. For me, it's always been more about the exploration and all the cool weird stuff you could find. I never really cared for the combat all that much, although It's probably a lot better in FT.
Yeah I don't know the older I get the less I seem to enjoy the first three games. I blame Bethesda and Obsidian for the more recent games getting more of my play-time.

The older I get, the more I appreciate the games that started this franchise. Somewhere along the way, right after New Vegas, they became janky. My love list goes: One, Two, Tactics, New Vegas, and three. The rest don't qualify.
Yeah I hope I never become one of those gamer's who keep praising 20-30 year old games over newer versions. There comes a point when games become relics.
As the newer Fallout's have better graphics and allow better immersion.

Damn straight no RPG has come close in five years. That game was a masterpiece.
