Gamewatcher reports that Insomnia: The Ark has a new trailer and an exclusive closed beta has launched.

HeroCraft and developer Studio Mono have released a new trailer for its dystopian sci-fi RPG, INSOMNIA: The Ark, which will be released for the PC this year.

INSOMNIA: The Ark was successfully backed on Kickstarter raising almost $100,000, so HeroCraft wanted to reward those players with an exclusive closed beta, which is launching today. A larger closed beta for other players is planned for later in the summer.

For all I remember this title was supposed to be a coop sandbox game - at least that was the reason I didn't back the project on KS.

Now I'm seeing it's steam store page where it states singleplayer, doesn't mention any coop or whatever and adds "a complex story-driven RPG". If that happens to be true I'll buy it on release.

There's a possibility we are going to add coop scenarios in the future, however it seems like we will launch the game as single player only. There's just so many things we want to improve and complete that we can't afford working on coop at the moment.

Well here you go as this game was covered on this site for at least three years. I'm surprised it hasn't launched yet as I remember posting the first kickstarter news-bit.

I'm still a bit sad this is not going to be turn-based, but HeroCraft is a good company and I still have faith in them.
WH40K: Space Wolves for example is a mobile port but far more enjoyable than I originally thought.
