Zenimax Media has updated Elderscrolls Online to version 1.2.5 via a new patch for the game. The patch fixes several problems eith gameplay, quests and UI. Other fixes for the game deal with performance problems:

The update also includes some minor performance improvements that may result in improved FPS for some. ZeniMax says this is part of "an ongoing effort to resolve client performance issues", which remains the studio's "number one priority".
Changes will also be for the Veteran Rank system:

Veteran Rank Changes: Phase 1 of our Veteran gameplay changes begins with this patch, the first in a series of changes we'll be making to improve the post-50 experience overall. We've lowered the difficulty of the second and third alliance zones to bring them more in lines with zones from 1-50. You'll be able to continue soloing through them more easily than before, though they'll still be challenging. We have much more information about Veteran System changes on the way, so make sure to watch our site for updates.

More information.

Just cancelled my subscription. Never even got a character past level 15. Repetitive, and no sense of role-play, or having a home, or a community. Maybe I'll check it out again in a few months.

I did the same after my free 30 days. It seems like a competently executed MMO. But the first 10 levels seemed exactly the same as wow. Go to an area, get a bunch of quests to collect/kill move on to another area. Perhaps the end game is more fun but I don't have the interest to play to that point. I do think that the quests were generally more interesting than WoW and of course the TES lore is decent.

I remember more co-op and people helping each other back when I briefly played WoW back in 2005 or so. I even joined a guild for a short while in ESO and it was just people chatting about non-game stuff. I had fun for a while, but I'm done.
