Buy the game, you'll adore it. From an airplane you can see it's totally different from everything EA makes.

I read that lock picking is not needed since you can simply break all locks so i didnt take it yet. I broke some locks with firebolts but it seems to take some time and it feels gamey.

One of the reasons you would want lockpicking is so you can more quickly/quietly open locks in a situation where that door's icon is red (ie: would be considered a crime if you got noticed). You don't need to spend much on it though, there's lots of gear with +1 Lockpicking on it and you can just save up a set.

I miss the day/night cycle of U7. Combat in D:OS makes up for it tenfold. I'm predicting that with the editor, there's going to be a U7 remake in D:OS.
