Keeper of the Watch
Not as much as I used to, but I still pick them up when word of mouth is promising
Couldn't stick with FFVII for too long (despite it having cult status) so if that's the best this subgenre has to offer I'd say no. Not that it's bad, it's just not my thing.
To quote just about every JRPG character ever:to me, being able to enjoy a jrpg as a reasonably sane adult is one of the greater mysteries of life.
FF7 the best? I think you're getting it wrong, it was the best at the time (arguably), that's like saying Ultima 7 is the best western RPGs has to offer.
FF 9 and FF 10 were much better IHMO, but they're still like over 10 years old games. For more recent games, I loved Persona 3 and 4. Also loved the Star Oceans, Valkyria Chronicles and Ni No Kuni.
You mean if it's RPG how to know it's jRPG?What's a jrpg ? I mean I just play games how do I know if it was a jrpg ?
JRPGs aren't weird, a lot them are just made for a more child-at-heart type of person. Personally, I love them for that reason.
The second ff game of the ps2 was the best. The one where monsters are visible and you can avoid them. And with the tile? Based skill selection.
