Ok. But some of those you mentioned, like D'ni can be just as destructive.

It's on again in a couple minutes and I'll have to watch. It's even on a youtube live stream this time.

Was hoping I could watch without distracting German overlay commentary, but it says the steam isn't available in my country? WTF? It's also broadcast for the first time in the US on "Logo TV" … who has exclusive rights, so youtube is geoblocked in the rest of the US, too. Seriously, the show's motto is "Come Together". Not with geoblocking.

Ah, Logo TV will have a live stream, too, so I guess US visitors will be able to watch there: http://www.logotv.com/shows/eurovision-song-contest-2016/live-stream/live.html

In the UK, we always have an Irishman do the commentary, as they are the world's best at taking the piss. The Eurovision requires bringing in the specialists.

Meanwhile, in America...

Hahaha, the most horrible song won. But I didn't vote for it, seriously - my favorite didn't make it to the finals.
Thinking about it, my favorite songs won three times out of ... well ... no idea.

This time I didn't have a clear favorite at all. So which was your favorite in the semi-finals (which I didn't watch)?

I liked the eletronic music from Latvia, but the singing wasn't that special. Germany wasn't that bad (at least not last-place bad).

Ah, the best song was the candid "love love, peace peace" sung by the moderators near the end. That one cracked me up.

"Didn't watch". Is this like the magazines with celebrity and gossip news, which nobody reads, except in the waiting room off their dentist?

Anyhow, based on the recommendation from the Jaz, I checked upon the winner on youtube. Ouch.

And Australia is part of Europe now? Does this imply that we now can expect a migration of all (or some of them) the 72 (possibly 73) deadly species living down there? And the mad ozzies playing with them?

pibbur who didn't watch the show (he didn't, he was playing FO4 which he supposes to some of you is just as bad) and doesn't even know the correct English word for said magazines.

I agree with arhu. The sond performed by the moderators was the best one of the evening. We wanted ti vote for that one, the rest was mediocre at best. Didn't like the winner at all. Sweden was decent and the aussie singer was good, her song was not...

IVAN (all caps, but - alas - no '!!!') from Belarus with 'Help you fly'. Interesting choice, especially since the show was all about wolves which - well, everybody knows that - are winged creatures :p.

Haven't watched that show in ages. It became a competition who'll make more crazy presentation of mediocre and bad music.
Any score worth listening this year?

I never watch it either, but I know Dami Im from Australia (Korean descendant) came 2nd... so close!!!

She's pretty competitive. After she won x-factor in Australia, she also competed in Korean "King of Masked Singer". She didn't win but got all the way to last round.

Well, I found it quite funny, "This is not a political competition, no politics allowed"..... ooops how come a political song won , what happened ? Probably because the establishment liked the message, they allowed it anyhow. While another entry was almost disqualified for displaying a flag.
