Given the fact that the user metacritic score is significantly higher for Dragonfall than Witcher 2 I am guessing there are quite a few people thinking like me :)

When is the last time you compared them? Because you might want to look again. ;)

TW2 currently has a user score of 8.5, and that's averaged from 3535 ratings.

Dragonfall (I'll go with the DC version since that's rated higher overall) currently has a user score of 8.2 based on only 28 ratings.

Dragonfall does have a slightly higher average critic score (92 vs 88), but that's based on only 4 reviews so far.
