That Map of Metal really cracked me up :D. The number of subdivisions that you can find there is shear insanity :). Anyway, I like how you can interact with the map and I appreciate the effort in creating it.

Since we are talking about Japan, I want to take the opportinity to present some music from Japanese composer Tōru Takemitsu. He is one of the few who has received critical acclaim in both the concert hall and in film music.

Here are some pieces by him. As can can see, it is the exact opposite of Babymetal :).

Not to bad, I hadn't hear them before.

Here is one of my fav. female punk singers(all female band) from my fav. bar in the world. I spent to much time here in the late 90's early 20's. Bar was ran by this great couple, an older 70's punk rock girl and younger long haired speed metal bass player.

Sunday nights were the best, as it was heavy metal bingo night.

1977 we move to the country, not many people around(7 houses). There is a boy my age there that is the youngest of 4. His older sister is much older, hot and in high school.

I am eight years old and I hear Van Halen for the first time at his place, well everyone is hearing it for the first time. Life is never the same for me……..

1984 high school is here, I have my first computer and talked my way into getting into the grade 11 computer class. Someone has handed me a disc doctor copy of Ultima 3 in computer class for my C64.

A few weeks later I am playing it to this new band Metallica.

1989 I have moved out of my parents home with my G/f that is still in grade 12. I am working and will be starting college the following year for computer hardware and repair.

Best friends that are in college already come down for a weekend of playing video games on the saga, music and other fun things.

The Murder City Devils, saw them a few times but their last show played in Vancouver BC was classic. At the Drive(Mars Volta) opened. At the drive in stopped their show 3 times complaining of contact slam dancing.

The Murder City came out and said something like "fuck that bull shit on their set, knocked down about 5 people in the front and kicked ass.
