I did the same, and made sure to point out why I don't enjoy endless filler combat.
I also put combat lower on my priority list. It has its place, but the others are more important in developing an enjoyable experience.

Hmm... Seems a little late in the game to ask this stuff, doesn't it? There was a more detailed survey asking similar questions almost 2 years ago now. I assumed they were much further along with production, but I guess not.

My fiance also told them to make an RPG, not a shooter.
I simply told them to make a game where choices actually matter.
