Bioware released a new trailer & website for a new game they will announce at Games-com 2014 next month. I have no idea if it will be an RPG so I put it here.

It's not made by any of BioWare Canada teams and there is an ARG linked to it.

Which means BioWare Austin.
Which means it's probably a MMO.

And it looks like The Secret World so far...

Reminds me of an dubiuous e-mail I got today : It comes from em.ea.com, entitled as "You have been selected/chosen" ("ausgewählt" in the original, German-language subject line) and it is supposed to be a fake … Does anyone know more about it ?

It looks almost exactly like the picture above, though ...

That email is the video Couch posted above and yeah, it's quite suspicious, but it might be the point going by one of the ARG thing about missing people.

I wasn't sent the e-mail for this so no I don't think it's suspicious. I wont say it's not a joke as people are known to waste money doing this. Look at Fallout 4.

UPDATE: Could the new game be called "Shadow Realms"? As highlighted by VideoGamer.com reader Graviton, the image in a teaser email sent to fans is named "ShadowRealms_Teaser_video.jpg".'

Furthermore, EA also filed a trademark for Shadow Realms back in February. This is probably it. Look out for more at Gamescom next month.

I got one yesterday. It did look suspicious because of how it was formulated, but it have been confirmed has real by devs today. I just saw a tweet that it's a new game form BioWare Austin and it was sent to SWTOR account emails (could be subscribers only, but it's unconfirmed).
