Bethesda is also developing a new mobile game called Fallout Shelter.

Description:

Fallout® Shelter puts you in control of a state-of-the-art underground Vault from Vault-Tec. Build the perfect Vault, keep your Dwellers happy, and protect them from the dangers of the Wasteland.

Vault-Tec has provided the tools, but the rest is up to you. What are you waiting for? Get started building your Vault today for free.

Compatibility: Requires iOS7 or later. Fallout Shelter is compatible with iPhone 5 or later, iPad Mini 2 or later, iPad 3 or later and is optimized for iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPad Air 2.

Key Features:

Build the Perfect Vault
Create a brighter future…underground! Select from a variety of modern-day rooms to turn an excavation beneath 2,000 feet of bedrock into the very picture of Vault Life.

Oversee a Thriving Community
Get to know your Dwellers and lead them to happiness. Find their ideal jobs and watch them flourish. Provide them with outfits, weapons, and training to improve their abilities.

Prosper
A well-run Vault requires a variety of Dwellers with a mix of skills. Build a Radio Room to attract new Dwellers. Or, take an active role in their personal lives; play matchmaker and watch the sparks fly!

Explore the Wasteland
Send Dwellers aboveground to explore the blasted surface left behind and seek adventure, handy survival loot, or unspeakable death. Find new armor and weapons, gain experience, and earn Caps! But don’t let them die!

Protect Your Vault
From time to time, idyllic Vault life may be disrupted by the dangers of post-nuclear life. Prepare your Dwellers to protect against threats from the outside…and within.

Sadly I'm still on iPhone 4 and thus won't betatest this phonegame iOS exclusive.
Even more sadly, there is no iOS7+ fully functional freeware emulator for PC like Bluestacks for Android.
Perhaps the saddest, if I'm about to pay $500 for something just to play a game, I'd take GTX 980 over some bloody phone any day.

Wait, joxer wants an emulator so he can play phone games on his PC? O_O

Eh? But I've already posted a few times that I use Bluestacks to try android phone avoidware, bloatware and crapware.

You're perhaps missing my point completely.
PC is a platform that can run just about anything. I'm pretty sure high end machines, with a proper emulator, could run without any hiccup, fresh nextgen games.
It's just such emulators don't exist - for whatever reason vmware, hyper V and other VMs don't care for it (read: probably paid not to make an emulator so people still buy garbageware).

And also, DX:The Fall. Did it really need a port and Steam release? Would it be better if it was left as a horrible phonegame instead of becoming one of the worst games ever on PC.

haha - THIS! The game was OK for the iPad, but it was already glaringly inadequate there ... let alone on the PC.
