1. Can the character be customized?     ^ back to top
You can customize your character. The visuals of the character also change when you change equipment. At the start of the game you get to choose your sex and looks. Your looks and can be changed at any time in the game by visiting an illusionist.
There are no cloaks in the game.

2. What is the name of our character?     ^ back to top
Your character can be given any name but it will be named Slayer in the game by others.

3. Is there a difference between male and female?     ^ back to top
The amount of dialog trees is already so large that that would've made things explode, so the differences between male/female are limited. The options for character development are quite extended though.

4. How do you become a dragon?     ^ back to top
At the end of your training you are chasing a dragon named Talana that curses you, causing you to become one with the spirit of the creature and you become a Dragon Knight allowing you to change into a dragon.
You'll have to "unlock" your dragon form and all the perks that come with being a dragon knight. Your first taste of what it feels like to be a dragon is on average after a couple of hours (depending on how you play) but the real unlocking happens after you've already done some questing.
The approach in general has been that ennvironment/antagonists/story/scripting nudge you in the direction of "use dragon"/"use human"/"use both", so yes, there are things in there which you wouldn't want to handle in a human form.

5. Does the dragon have a gender?     ^ back to top
Yes, the gender of your avatar determines the gender of your dragon.

6. Can I upgrade my character as well as my Dragon?     ^ back to top
Yes, both your human and your Dragon form will simultaneously gain levels and abilities through experience points.

7. What skills can I customize my Dragon with?     ^ back to top
Your Dragon form gains levels like your human character does, and as such will gain attribute points, but skills have to be learnt in a very different way!

8. Are there different skills sets for Dragons?     ^ back to top
Yes, choosing different skills allow you to take different approaches to dragon combat. It's all up to the player to take the road that suits him or her best.

9. How complex will the character leveling system be?     ^ back to top
The game boasts five attributes you can spend statpoints on that influence six more resistances and modifiers. Add more than sixty distinctive skills to the mix and you get a good idea of how deep the RPG experience can take you. Everything is designed so that you can make every character you want, whether that is the straightforward axe-first-talk-later barbarian or a woodsman who deftly uses his summoning skills to give his enemies a target, then dodges out by hiding in the shadows and strikes down his confused enemies from afar with poison-tipped arrows.
