GAME INFORMATION
Pre-release game information hidden in a ... hum, spoiler tag now. But it's not a spoiler. I'll leave it for whoever wants to buy BG3 and doesn't know anything about it but wants to avoid big (real) spoilers. (damn, it's so confusing to explain)
I'm copying my quick-and-dirty notes taken while watching Larian's last Panel from Hell as a request from @Taluntain, who would like to start an info thread in a BG3 forum. I've added a few bits since my other post.
I'm skipping what is too much of a spoiler and hiding a few bits for those who prefer not to know too much. Comments from me are in italics.

General
- Dates are known for PC (3 August) and PS5 (6 September), but still not for other consoles.
- People who purchased the Early Access will get a free upgrade to the Deluxe Edition.
- It's been a 6-year development, including almost 3 years in EA.
- Number of acts: 3. The first one, which was in EA, serves as a tutorial. The next 2 acts get more difficult.
- Unboxing the Collector's Edition.
- Level cap: 12 (not sure whether it's player level or class level).
- Character creation has been entirely revamped since EA.
- Races:
- 11 races, 31 subraces
- extra cosmetic customization vary with races (horns for tieflings, scars for drows, specials beards for dwarves, face of dragonborns)
- a lot of options in general.
- Classes:
- 12 classes, 46 subclasses, multiclassing
- layout has changed, step-by-step process
- one NPC allows to respec the class - allows to experiment, especially with multiclassing
- some subclasses come later than character creation (D&D rules).
- The world reacts to the race & class choices; for example, with specific dialogues.
- Classes and races offer specific dialogue options. For example, the druid can talk to animals.
- About 33% more lines in act 1 in comparison to EA.
- About 1.9 million words (includes all combinations of C&C, specific to race and class, ...).
- You can play as one of the main NPCs, like D:OS2.
- Some secrets/history related to origins character are revealed sooner if you play it, in extra scenes, for ex.
- If you plan an Origin, you may make decisions that the NPC wouldn't have made. For example, you can decide whether you want to tell your secrets to other NPCs.
- There's a fully customizable origins character (Dark Urge) - race, class, appearance with the origins story on top of that. It's apparently becoming a favourite of the testers. There are often special choices during the game for this character that tempt you doing ... things. (I've seen a scene, and it made me want to try that character)
- Wyll has been almost entirely remade (story, dialogues); he has many early C&C.
- There are 5 or 6 new companions that were not in EA (some good, some evil).
- You can have a party of 4 Origins, or 4 customs, SP or MP - all combinations are possible.
- There are available hirelings that can be included in the party instead of the Origins.
- Someone asked if we could swap companions anytime, and if it had a cost. They answered that, if companions left, it was because of what the player does. Some companions join later in the story. When you're at the camp, you can swap them in and out. (They didn't answer very clearly, so I'm not 100 % sure the companion lock-out we saw in EA - the same as in D:OS2 - has been removed).
- Broad choice of romance options, sometimes with several possible outcomes.
- Your companion may leave you (or worse) if they don't agree with your choices; on the other hand, you can sometimes persuade them to do things they wouldn't normally do.
- Starting the romance isn't just the matter of fetching something for them; it's something you have to build before you can tempt your chance.
- The romance options reflect also in the ending. It's not just a one-night thing but a long relationship.
- 3 difficulty modes: balanced = normal; explorer = story mode; tactician = hard mode. I haven't seen the option menu or whether there were more fine-grained options, like the possibility to respec.
- Tactician: increased HP hit and the "puzzle" part of the combat is more complicated (the way the combat is tactically set up in the environment, the mix of enemies, ...). AI is smarter too.
- It's possible to change the difficulty on the fly
- 174 hours of cinematics (dialogues and scenes) made by two specialists who created Larian's cinematic department.
- Split in all the choices, so it's probably not possible to see it all.
- Someone in the audience asked them why they thought BG3 was the worthy successor of the old BG games. Here's the link to Swen's reply.
